Comment trouvez-vous votre sorbet? – Bon. Mais il serait mieux si c'était un péché.
The art world was once, and sometimes still is, steeped in symbolism, rebelliousness, and forbidden thoughts. What fascinates me is that when something isn't quite what it seems, it can become a catalyst for critical thinking and a disruption of the expected.
To my great surprise, I found this double layer missing in the world of ties and scarves. Aesthetic quality is abundant: florals, paisleys, and stripes, especially in archival prints made using traditional craftsmanship. But it rarely gets truly bold from within.
And so my mission began: keeping that same traditional quality of the past, yet creating original designs with a subversive, seductive, or historical layer. Where the eye sees something beautiful, but the mind is intrigued.
Le beau est toujours bizarre.
Just as much passion goes into design as into the craftsmanship of each accessory. I’ve always been obsessed with quality, honouring labour and fine detail. That’s why I only work with the very best producers and artisans.
It's an ongoing exploration — excavating concepts, collaborating with artists and designing patterns. What's online now is the tip of the iceberg, and I'm eager to unfold what lies ahead.
